Altus Reserva Malbec



La Arboleda, Tupungato at 1,200 mts. above sea level, in Mendoza.
Age: 30 years old.
Trellis conduction system and flood irrigation.
Yield: 75 qq/ha.
Harvest: hand-picked at the end of March.




 Once bunches are selected, they are transported to the winery in boxes.
Precise elimination of stalk, gentle roller crushing of grapes.
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, adding of selected yeasts, temperature control between 28 and 30 ºC.
Maceration time with residue: 25 days.
Pneumatic pressing. Transfer elimination of thick flock in winter.
45 % of the wine is placed in French oak barrels for 7 months.

Total acidity: 5,00 gr/lt.
pH: 3,70.




High intensity red -violet color. Elegant aromas of ripe black berries, very well combined with oak. Of excellent acidity, combines body and freshness, silky tannins with great personality.
