Gualtallary Malbec



Located in San José, Tupungato, Mendoza, altitude: 1,200 mts. above sea level
Age: 40years old.
Low trellis conduction system and flood irrigation through ditches.
Yield: 50 qq/ha.
Harvest: hand-picked at the end of March.




 Important agronomic work to obtain optimum healthiness and ripeness, selecting the bunches and boxing them for their transportation to the winery.
Elimination of stalk, whole grains are sent to stainless steel tanks of little capacity.
Adding of selected yeasts, temperature control between 28 and 30 ºC.
Total maceration time: 28 days.
Natural malolactic fermentation, pressing off the skins to eliminate thick flocks, placed in new French oak barrels for 16 months.

Alcohol: 14,20 %.
Sugar: 2,40 grlt.
Total acidity: 4,95 gr/lt.
pH: 3,74.




Intense, deep violet color. Fine aromas of ripe red and black berries with touches of oak. Well- bodied, silky tannins, much freshness, the barrel grants complexity and great elegance.
