Gualtallary Cabernet Sauvignon



Surrounding the winery in La Costa estate, Tupungato, at 1,200 mts. above sea level, Mendoza.
Age: 12 years old.
High trellis conduction system and drip irrigation.
Yield: 60 qq/ha.
Harvest: hand-picked in mid April.




Great agronomic work to obtain healthy, even grapes of optimum ripeness.
Once the grape bunches are chosen, they are placed in boxes for their transportation to the winery.
Precise elimination of the stalk, whole grains are sent to small stainless steel tanks.
Alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts and temperature control between 28 and 30 ºC.
Total maceration time: 24 days.
Natural malolactic fermentation. Thick flock transfer method, placed in new French oak barrels for 16 months.

Alcohol: 14,10 %.
Sugar: 2,00 gr/lt.
Total acidity: 5,40 gr/lt.
pH: 3,70.




Intense ruby red color. Strong red berry aroma and pleasant vegetable tones such as green and sweet peppers. Great body, firm tannins, concentrated fruit and caramelized, with an elegant oak finish.
